What is hypertension?

Hypertension or high blood pressure causes a force of the blood against your artery world. It is one of the reasons for heart diseases. Blood pressure is measured with the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance of the blood flow in your artery. If your heart pumps more blood and if you have narrow arteries, you may be suffering from hypertension issue.


Sometimes people with high blood pressure cannot feel any symptom of this problem. But, that does not mean there is no chance of damage to your blood vessels and heart. Some common symptoms are mentioned below.

  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath
  • Nosebleeds


People are suffering from primary hypertension or secondary hypertension. While primary hypertension develops over time, secondary hypertension has some causes that trigger the issue. We come up with some of the options:
